More ways to make coffee part of the day.
Americans continue to choose coffee at a remarkable rate, with two out of every three adults reporting coffee in the past day. Specialty coffee is no longer a narrow corner of the category, either. Nearly half of adults had it in the past day, and adults ages 25 to 39 reported the strongest weekly specialty coffee participation.
The definition is broad enough to reflect real routines: espresso drinks, cold brew, nitro coffee, frozen beverages, and coffees drinkers view as made with premium beans or grounds. The result is a coffee culture that makes room for a favorite cup at home, a stop on the way to work, or something different in the afternoon.
